Hi guys Nice to see something is happening around our common passion for vintage enduros It’s time in UK that after all has a lot of good riders and lots of enthusiast, gather most for them for some great events. Yes indeed the Enduro Norman will be missed by lot of us, which was the bench mark on the continent with another one in Germany. So, well done to you and thank you for organising an event! See you first at the Ryedale Rally and then in North Northumberland. Philippe (Vinduro77)

Nice one Gavin, the event photos brought back some happy memories, like the site, looking forward to the event and seeing some of the "forgotton" bikes of the seventies and eighties, always thought the photographer was dodgy, lurking about in midge infested forests at weekends. Good Luck with it all!

Gav From one who was to old to start riding enduro anyway - I'm keen to have a go at a bike I should have ridden when I was fit to actually ride!! Well done and a great site - clean, clear and no hidden or crafty links to catch you out. Mike

Great to see the old 'uns (bikes and riders)being catered for. Your photo's have brought back many memories. I rode a PE 250 and a 400 around the early '80's Jimmy Jones, the Moto Gori man got me into it. I'd ridden on the sand, but never done MX or trials and was useless, but the enthusiasm of Jimmy and others kept me going. I returned to enduro's in about 2000 with a DRZ 400 S. I did a few seasons on this and for reasons that I can't explain, decided to get a PE and try my hand with that. A shabby 175 came my way, then a worse 250 and now that is fitted with the 400 motor. I enter these in modern events and am happy to just finish-------In fact I'm happy to still be breathing at the finish. Fun is what it is about for me.
Good luck with the club and long may you have success.

Greetings from Florida. Great club and great events. it seems that Vintage Enduros are getting bigger and bigger in Europe. Glad to see all the glory bikes from the 70s and 80s. We are a small shop in Florida catering to exactly this group of enthusiasts here in the US. Vintage Enduro and Vintage Moto Cross is here to stay-just look at the vintage races this past weekend at Barber/Alabama. Ride'em-don't hide 'em! Fantastic club, cheers, Markus.

At last I can get my IT175 out and give it some, always dreamed of owning one and finally got the chance of a totally standard IT that had only done a few hundred Kms, so rushed and bought it.
Cant wait for your 2011 dates to be released, then Im goming home to have a go (currently in India).
WOW..The Burington Grovel>>That got me into racing..I went as a spectator, and driver...Did many enduros, but they were always miles away from us in the east..Twas hard work to drive back afterwards..Used to get back from Wales about 10pm.Knackered ! Then got into roadracing..Vintage of course..Good days! Will see you in 2011 on my 1979 honda xr 250.. thanks and good luck with the club.

Hi, I was a 68 year old spectator at 2010 Hot Trod, really enjoyed it. Hope to be a 69 year old competitor at 2011 Hot Trod. Currently rebuilding a Can Am 250 especially for 2011 events.
The 2010 event reminded me of the happy days competing in trials & scrambles between 1959 & 1969, including two great seasons as sidecar passenger for Blaydon flyer Jack Martin ( ACU NE Center Champion ).
Wow- talk about memory lane i remember BURRINGTON GROVEL first enduro i saw have been thinking about getting an old enduro bike for a while now i want one, any suggestions on what to buy because of parts availability.Big fan of the SWM,HUSQVARNAS,PE SUZUKIS? ANY help or suggestions highly appreciated.
ROBERT BROOKS.
